With age comes deep reflection. At least it has for me. As I sit with my thoughts and do, what I name “nothing,” I feel …

Welcome

I want to take a minute of your time to thank you for visiting my website and tell you a little bit about me. For most of my career, I worked in the television industry as an associate producer. After twenty years, I left the business to become a full-time mom. When my youngest went off to college, my husband, Jay Chattaway, and I sold our house in Malibu, moved onto our 45’ Hardin ketch, and set sail for Mexico. We now spend half the year on our sailboat, Cadenza, cruising the Pacific Coast of Mexico, and half the year at our land home on Martha’s Vineyard.
One constant through all that has been writing. Whether poetry or essays, personal letters or blogging, writing has helped me understand myself and the world around me.
Perfecting the craft of storytelling is an ongoing process. To that end, I am excited to say I have published my first book, Journey to the Inner Light: The Life and Musical Voyage of Jay Chattaway, Star Trek, Jazz, and Film Composer. Please check it out. You can order it here on my website or find it at your local bookstore.
My latest project is a memoir about dementia. As so many of us know someone who has had or is living with some form of dementia, I thought sharing my experience might bring some comfort. If, at the very least, to know you are not alone. If you have stories of your own, I would love to hear from you. Please contact me through [email protected].
Meanwhile, I welcome you to explore my website. Much – but not all – of my writing to date is about our travels while cruising. I invite you to join me on my many adventures. And don’t forget to sign up for the email list. Check for a follow-up email to confirm that you would like to receive my emails; by confirming this email, it will allow me to contact you whenever there is something new on the website.
